The second annual Blyth Valley Jobs Fair is taking place on Friday 7th October from 10am to 3pm at Blyth Sports Centre in Bolam Avenue, Blyth NE24 5BT.
The event is organised by my office in partnership with the Department of Work and Pensions to bring local employers, jobs and communities together.
There will be something for all job-seekers whether they are looking for full-time, part-time, apprenticeship, graduate or seasonal work. Over 40 North East and National employers including some of the region’s biggest will be at the fair. There will be a wide variety of jobs on offer suiting many levels of skills, experience and educational background.
It’s open to anybody of working age looking for full-time, part-time, apprenticeship, graduate or seasonal work – the Blyth Valley Jobs Fair has something for everyone. Online applications can be very time consuming and by attending this event, job seekers can get the chance to skip this process and speak directly to the employers – gaining a real insight into the career paths available right on our doorstep.
